The Veteran's Team played their second match on Monday 10th July at Lee on the Solent. After initial worries about wet weather we had yet another lovely day, slightly humid and windy but ideal conditions for golf. All the matches were played in good spirit and the team managed another friendly half, 3.5 - 3.5.
The after match meal was delicious and there were many compliments from the Ladies of both teams. Lee on the Solent looked after us extremely well and everyone had a really enjoyable day.
Thank you to all the Ladies who played.
We have a few weeks rest before a run of 4 matches in 5 weeks. Time to get fit.
