Our penultimate match of 2022 was played in lovely weather at Bognor Regis yesterday. A slight breeze took the sting off the heat and there was actually green grass on parts of the fairways which made hitting the ball well much easier. We were made very welcome as always by the Sussex Ladies and the course was lovely and the food very good. Unfortunately, we lost the match 4½ to 2½, but I think everyone enjoyed their games. I certainly did. The course and conditions seemed to suit me very well. Thank you to the team of ladies that played – I appreciate it. Our last match of the year is against the Isle of Wight on Wednesday 14th September.
