Yesterday we played our 4th match of the year at Saltford, on a sultry day with a little bit of drizzle but also lots of heat and mugginess. As with all courses, Saltford was extremely dry and there are a lot of tricky, blind holes. We were made most welcome by the Somerset ladies and had a lovely meal after the match. I am also delighted to report that despite us giving plenty of shots, in some matches, we were able to secure another win of 4 games to 3. Thank you for the team that played. I appreciate that it was a long drive for many of us on a very hot day, so well done everyone. Our next match is this Thursday at Bognor Regis against Sussex.
