Match Report – Vets v Wiltshire at Romsey GC on Monday 1st August 2022

I am delighted to report that we had another win yesterday, beating Wiltshire 5 – 2, at Romsey Golf Club. Thank you to the team that played yesterday and especially to Geraldine Pringle of Romsey GC, who stepped in at the last minute when I was unable to play. Romsey, as most courses, was very dry but the greens were receptive. I enjoyed (surprisingly) walking round watching the matches - quite a different experience for me. The food afterwards was good and we were made most welcome by the Team at Romsey. Our next match is on Monday 15th August at Saltford (near Bristol) against Somerset.
