HLG Vets v Berkshire @ Weybrook Park, Thursday 12th May 2022

I am delighted to report that we had a win against Berkshire in our first Vets match of 2022. It was a close result with Hampshire winning by 4-3 with some great matches, some closer than others. Weybrook Park was presented in excellent condition, the rain the day before had really helped true up the greens and everywhere looked lovely. The food was good and we were all very well looked after. The weather was kind as well, so altogether it was a very nice day and we had some great comments from our visitors. Our next match is on 7th July v Dorset at Highcliffe Castle GC so I will be sending out team selections for that and the other matches shortly. Thank you to my team for playing so well and I look forward to seeing many of you soon.
