Foursomes Meeting at Weybrook Park 17th July

The handicap bracket for this competition is 30.1 to 36.0 adding the two player  HI together. The variation in handicaps of the pairings is quite wide. The only other restriction, is that the participants cannot have played in the Foursomes Championship earlier in the season. Weybrook Park GC and their General Manager Lee Newman  welcomed us warmly. The starters were the President and Ladies Captain. The bar staff made us all very welcome, and the team provided a delicious lunch, which was enthusiastically received by the ladies after their rounds.

Scoring was quite varied. The winning pair, with 41 points were Sara Mitchell and Carol Squibb of North Hants GC, seen here below with the County Captain Eilean Cunningham,

In second place on countback, also with 41 points, but unable to stay for the prizegiving were Rachel Hanbury of Wellow GC and Barbara Mills of Royal Winchester GC 

In third place Susan Rorrison and Sharon Simmonds of Romsey 39pts                             Fourth place Jan Dewey and Jenny Lycett of Weybrook Park GC 38 pts
