Vacancy - Knockout Competitions Secretary

After 4 years in post, Janet Armitage, our Knockout Competitions Secretary is stepping aside, and we are looking for someone to take on the role from the New Year.  

You will have overall responsibility for organising our Inter-Club Knockout Competitions (Stoneham Cup, North Hants Trophy, Hayling Trophy, and Knight Cup). You are the main point of contact for all queries and processing match results. As the season progresses, you will organise the venues for some quarter finals and the administration of the respective Semi Finals / Finals Days. You will work closely with and report to the Competitions Director. The job description can be seen here. 

This is a great opportunity for someone who would like to give something back to HLG. The postholder will need a good working knowledge of our Competitions Programme and is self-motivated and a good organiser.  The role is largely self-contained and does not require attending lots of meetings.
