Hampshire Junior Championships 2026
Hampshire Ladies Golf is pleased to announce that in 2026 a single county junior championship for girls and boys will be introduced, marking a significant step as we begin to align junior golf across Hampshire.
Hampshire Junior Championship – 30 July 2026
The Hampshire Junior Championship will take place at Corhampton Golf Club on 30 July 2026 and will be open to U18, U16 and U14 girls and boys with handicaps from + to 20.0.
The championship will be played as a 36-hole medal competition, with:
- Scratch and nett prizes awarded in each age category
- Trophies presented to the overall scratch and overall nett champions
Additional Junior Event – Boundary Lakes Golf Club
An additional junior event will be held at Boundary Lakes Golf Club on 24 August 2026.
This event will be open to:
- U12 and U10 girls and boys (any handicap up to 54.0)
- U18 girls with handicaps between 20.1 and 54.0
The competition will be an 18-hole Stableford, with the Douglas Cup awarded as the principal prize.
As 2026 represents the first year of a unified junior championship structure, this year’s event will be treated as a trial, with the potential for refinement in future years based on feedback and participation.
