Junior Autumn Meeting 2023

Junior Autumn Meeting 2023 Winners
Junior Autumn Meeting 2023 Winners (Left to Right) - Nancy Neville, Georgia Richardson, Niamh Magee, Tia Brammer

We started out on the East Course before moving on to the front 9 of the West Course which offers some amazing views out over the country side. On the front 9, accuracy off the tee was key with tight fairways and well protected greens on many holes. The back 9 was equally challenging with more length required to meet some holes and many undulations and bunkers to contend with.

As always our girls played in great spirit, celebrating good shots and importantly, supporting their fellow golfers through the ones that weren't perhaps as good as had been intended.

Congratulations to all the prize winners and thank you to everyone who took part in our competitions this season. Dates for our 2024 season have already been secured and can be found on the 2024 fixtures page, we hope you'll save the dates for those.

A really big thank you to everyone involved in arranging this year's Autumn Meeting including Noan Nicol and the competitions team of Jude and Pauline, we truly appreciate all your hard work in ensuring these competitions can take place. I'd also like to thank Weybrook Park Golf Club for allowing us courtesy of the course, for making us feel so welcome and providing a lovely post round meal.

In case anyone is interested, I ended the day on 31,000 steps and enjoyed my walk home but I won't be walking to Hayling for Spring Meeting!!
