What a week we enjoyed at North Hants GC as we hosted County Match Week. The course was set up beautifully and we all received a very warm welcome from everyone at North Hants GC, who looked after us very well. Thank you.
We witnessed some great golf and very close matches and it was the final game out on the course on Wednesday morning between Surrey and Sussex that would determine the outcome.
Many congratulations to Surrey who came out as winners and will now represent our region in the National Finals which are taking place at Stover GC on 20th September. We wish Surrey Captain, Jane Bathurst and her team, the best of luck.
I would like to thank our County Captain, Sarah Deacon and her 1st team for representing Hampshire so well and to the supporters who kindly made the journey to North Hants to show their support.
